Where the Panoramahotel stands today, the story of tourism in Braunwald began. In 1907, with the opening of the funicular, the Hotel Alpenblick was built here, one of the first houses in the village. For more than a century it was the first house to greet guests arriving in Braunwald, until a fire destroyed the traditional hotel in 2009.
With the Panoramahotel, this story continues: in the same place, with a new house, as the next chapter of a long tradition of hospitality. A business carried by a team that fills this house with life.

You can see the mountains from every balcony. What makes a house warm is the people inside: the voice that greets you by name in the morning, the hand that brings your coffee just the way you like it. And at midday we all sit down at one table and eat the same food that is cooked for our guests, like a family. Because up here, we truly are a family.

Where the Panoramahotel stands today, the story of tourism in Braunwald began. In 1907, with the opening of the funicular, the Hotel Alpenblick was built here, one of the first houses in the village.
For more than a century it was the first house to greet guests arriving in Braunwald, until a fire destroyed the traditional hotel in 2009.
With the Panoramahotel, this story continues: in the same place, with a new house, as the next chapter of a long tradition of hospitality.
