Exploring the Trails by E-Bike

Bike route 307 takes you on a scenic ride through the scattered hamlets of Braunwald, climbing up to the legendary Oberblegisee lake, framed by dramatic cliff faces. Stop off at Bächialp along the way to quench your thirst and try a piece of fresh alpine cheese. From the Oberblegisee, a steep but well-maintained alpine road brings you back down in style. With sweeping views across the valley, the route winds past scattered mountain huts, through forests and meadows all the way to Schwanden. From there, follow the valley floor south to Linthal, where the funicular takes you back up to Braunwald.

Want More of a Challenge?

For those looking to push a little harder, the route continues on a steeply climbing asphalt road to Brulaui. From there, a gravel track leads to the highest point of the route at 1,599 m. A steep descent brings you down to the mountain restaurant Nussbüel, from where the path winds through open woodland, past old farmhouses and on to Braunwald, with magnificent views of the Ortstock and Tödi along the way.
